About the Pencil Drawings

The pencils I use more often to draw are HB or 2B pencils. After reading lots of drawing tutorials online I have finally understood just how important secondary lines are for proportionate drawings. My pencil drawings are by no means perfectly proportioned, but hopefully, you can see that the newest drawings (top) are significantly better than the older ones (bottom). I am trying to learn how to draw items or figures in perspective, but that's pretty hard to do and I lack the necessary equipment - in fact, my drawing tools consist of a couple of pencils, a pencil sharpener and an eraser that doesn't leave smudges on the paper.

About the Color Pencil Drawings

I am a beginner when it comes to shading and I am still learning new techniques to apply realistic lighting effects to my drawings. Colorizing drawings with color pencils is a fun activity and I like doing it while listening to happy tunes. Currently I am trying to master shading clothes and faces. I think I am doing a good job shadowing hair though - anime fans will hopefully recognize the style.
