Orange Hair
The idea for this picture came to me as I was checking out some stock photography site with the keyword androgynous. I came across a picture of a lovely light-haired woman with bare shoulders gazing at the photographer wearing a serene expression. The picture impressed me a lot, so I used it as a reference for sketching.

Description of "Orange Hair"
I took many liberties colorizing the drawing; the vibrant orange hair was a spontaneous idea. I think I have a lot to learn about colorizing hair, but I reckon it was fun making separate layers for the bright orange highlights and the darker parts of the hair, then blending them together. I don't regret working on this drawing at all.
Obviously, the woman in the drawing is not quite as androgynous as the one in the reference picture, but I find her whole expression alluring. Many thanks to whoever created the twig shaped custom brush for Photoshop; I wish I had kept their name so I could credit them properly.
