I got the pose for the drawing from a Nirvana live video clip. It's from a live performance of Lithium where Kurt Cobain is singing with his hair covering almost all of his face. I felt I had to do a Kurt Cobain drawing after reading his diary.

Description of "Kurt Cobain Drawings"
I got Kurt Cobain's diaries as a present for Christmas. It's a pretty big book with a poster, containing numerous pages from his diaries, including some playlists, checklists, drawings, comics and art by Kurt Cobain. There are also some letters which he sent (or didn't) to Courtney Love, his assosiates, some recording companies etc. Kurt Cobain's diary is a very interesting read, if you can figure out his messy handwriting. Kurt Cobain's handwriting looks eerily like mine. It's a bit depressing to read about his futile dreams and his last days. His art is interesing too and manages to convey a message.
