Drawing fan art is a hobby of mine. I have already submitted this drawing to numerous final fantasy fan art sites, so, if you've seen a lot of irvine drawings or a lot of final fantasy viii fan art, you might have already seen my drawing. For this reason, I offer you the original black and white pencil drawing as opposed to the photoshopped art I have submitted to the final fantasy fan sites.

Description of "Final Fantasy Fan Art"
This is a piece of fan art I am very proud of, because it's a drawing done in realistic style. I haven't played any of the Final Fantasy games, I have just watched the Final Fantasy: Advent Children movie. Still, when one is involved in the slash/yaoi community, one will eventually stumble upon fan fics and pictures featuring flirty long-haired pretty boys in compromising (see slashy) situations. Although I don't care much for Final Fantasy VIII yaoi, be it fics or fiction, final fantasy slash was how I got to know the characters. Irvine made an impression on me, so I decided to draw him.
I have began to dislike anime style art though, so I used a picture of Jonathan Rhys Meyers as a reference for the drawing. Jonathan was wearing a cowboy hat in the reference picture, so it was pretty much a perfect match.
