Why does the angel have only one wing? OK, that's inspired from Final Fantasy 7, where the main villain, the crazed and evil Sephiroth, has only one wing, albeit a black one. His music theme is also, aptly titled " One Winged Angel".
I chose to draw the angel naked rather than give him some fancy outfit. But I also didn't make him plump and cute like other angels. He's an evil one, after all.
Comments on style
The shading is very dramatic, it gives the drawing an ominous feel.
Angry sketchy lines are everywhere.
You can't see the expression of the angel's face because half of it is in shadow, but you just know it's an evil half smile.
